Uttarakhand Govt Approves DA For Home Guard:
According to the latest news, the government has approved a proposal to give dearness approval to home guards. The additional chief secretary has offered an official order to the CM on Friday. There will be a push on development after the supreme court will take the remuneration. Following the direction of the apex court, the provision of dearness allowance has been approved for the home guards.
Dearness Allowance Up By 3% In Rajasthan:
Recently the government of Rajasthan has announced a three percent hike in the Dearness Allowance for the state employees. Also, the pensioners’ hours have taken the ladder after the central government increased the same on Wednesday. The DA has jumped 31% to 34% payable to the beneficiaries from January 1, 2022. It is a move by the government that will help 8 lakh working employees and 4.40 lakh pensioners.
Dearness Allowance For Central Government Hiked By 3%:
On Wednesday the Union Cabinet approved a three percent hike in dearness allowance for central government employees and dearness relief to pensioners. With this change, the DS for such employees now stands at 34 percent of the basic pensions as against 31 percent earlier. The cabinet impact on the exchequer DR would be nearly Rs 9,544.50 crore per annum. After the wake of Covid-19, the Central government stopped the three additional installments of the DA and DR that were due on January 1, 2020, and January 1, 2021.
