Kashmiri Pandits Body Said They Have to Choose Between Life and Kashmir.
According to the Kashmiri Pandits, relief efforts and communal reintegration are being “stalled and sabotaged” by relief department employees.

Srinagar: The Kashmiri Pandit Sangarsh Samiti (KPSS), an influential group representing the group in Jammu and Kashmir, has charged the government with subjecting them to “harassment and isolation,”, particularly in the wake of the repeal of Articles 370 and 35A.
The Kashmiri Hindus who have not migrated and are still living in the Valley, according to KPSS, are being threatened with their “life and security” despite repeated orders from the J&K High Court and directives from the Union Department of Home Affairs.
“Since June 2020, hundreds of communications stand submitted to all concerned authorities in UT and Centre about the vicious and morally corrupt staff of Relief Department,” the body stated.

Sanjay Tickoo, the group’s leader and a liberties activist, has declared he will fast till he dies in criticism of the department responsible for disaster assistance, recuperation, and reconstruction. He has also organized a sit-in protest.
According to Sanjay, specific circumstances are produced that sabotage efforts to provide jobs and assist Hindu residents of the Kashmir Valley in their rehabilitation. In order to have the Court’s orders and the Ministry of Home Affairs‘ recommendations followed in practice, he said that these circumstances necessitate dealing secretly with Relief Department representatives.
The organization has now made multiple demands in its petition, demanding a vigilance investigation against the aid agency’s employees, who they claim are “stalling and undermining” the relief and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus in the region.
The requests include following the High Court’s directives and the Ministry of Home Affairs’ suggestions about providing jobs for educated, jobless Kashmiri Pandit youth and, ultimately, the expansion of Migrant Welfare Fund entitlements to Kashmiri Hindus residing in the territory.
