Nothing’s First Transparent Smartphone Launched
Nothing launched its first smartphone on Tuesday with attractive and competitive pricing.
Nothing Phone 1’s special category price ranges from Rs 30,000 to Rs 39,999. Most Indian Consumers are purchasing under Rs 29000 or above Rs 40000. OnePlus had a monopoly on this segment, and Nothing has targeted the market sector that will compete with OnePlus on the front foot.
Nothing OS is a new OS that the UK-based tech startup claims to be closer to the stock Android experience without the bloatware and other drawbacks.
“The phone is entering with many promises and expectations in the Indian market. However, how the overall experience is delivered will define its future course. Right now, the phone has set several tall expectations, which might not be easy to meet,” said Faisal Kawoosa, Founder and Chief Analyst at Tech arc.
Despite the initial hype around its new phone, the brand remains intact among its tech-savvy enthusiasts.
“Nothing did well on the marketing strategy and already built a hype among the consumers. However, the mindshare is there, and it is partly because of their good entry in True Wireless Stereo (TWS) category as well,” said Tarun Pathak, Research Director at Counterpoint Research.
Nothing smartphone 1 has a 6.55-inch display, 4,5000mAh battery, 120 Hz refresh rate, 33W charging, snapdragon 778 G+ with up to 12 gigabytes of RAM, and a Sony IMX 766 sensor.
It might appear like a regular smartphone, but individuals would love to seek the Glyph interface.
