BCCI Announced India Squad For Ireland Tour
Almost every Indian puts their ears on when it comes to the latest cricket news. BCCI is taking every decision related to Indian cricket teams and events. Recently they have released the squad for Ireland tour. The Indian Senior Selection Committee has selected a 17-members team for the T20I series against Ireland.
The series is going to take place between 26tg and 28th in Dublin. The committee focuses on bringing maximum youngsters to the team and polishing their skills at the international level. Hardik Pandya as the captain will lead the team India. Along with the vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Along with the skipper and vice-captain the team consists of young Indian talent like Ishan Kishan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson, Venkatesh Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Dinesh Karthik, Rahul Tripathi, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi, Akshar Patel, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, etc.
Honorary Secretary of BCCI Mr. Jay Shah announced the list of players for the Ireland tour. Surprisingly Rishab Pant has been rested for the Ireland T20Is, and Hardik Pandya will lead the team for the series. After his successful captaincy in the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Hardik Pandya is all set to lead the team and give his hundred percent. Pandya will lead the Indian national team for the bilateral White-ball series against Ireland, as confirmed by the BCCI.
After the unimaginable performance of team Indian in the 2021 edition of ICC World T20, Pandya opted to take a break from international cricket. After the release from his former team, Mumbai Indians Pandya made a sensational return as the Captain of Gujrat Titans. Pandya boosted the team rank on the points table for the 15th IPL season.
After the impressive win of India against South Africa in the 3rd T20I, the BCCI confirmed Hardik Pandya as the captain of the Indian side for the Ireland tour. Let’s look forward to a quality series of cricket and hope for India’s win.
