The First Glimpse at the Design of the iPhone 15Pro
There are rumours that the front-facing camera of the iPhone 15 Pro will be integrated into the display. According to reports, Samsung is working on “microscopic transparent windows which may be formed in the cathode and OLED pixel layers” that allow a panel to be upfront.
In the meantime, it’s believed that the iPhone 15 range will be the initial iPhone to use a USB Type-C connector rather than one that supports a Lightning connector.
Renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently tweeted that the iPhone 15 series will not include the Power adapter but a USB Type-C port.
The next-generation under-display camera created by Samsung and OTI Lumionics is rumoured to be used in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max variants.
In 2023, the iPhone 15 Pro phones are also expected to include a 5x periscope lens. As analyst Jeff Pu had previously predicted, the leak points to iPhone 15 Pro variants with 5x periscope cameras.
A telescopic lens with a 5x autofocus will be included in the iPhone 15 Pro versions. He claims that the business has already obtained prototypes of the device. Once licensed, the periscope lens manufacturer Lante Optics may provide Apple with 100 million units of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The iPhone 15 series will be the first to be equipped with a periscope lens. The rumour mill also claimed that the 2023 variants of the iPhone 15 series would not include a SIM card slot.
The iPhone 15 variants may be the first to use an A-series processor manufactured on TSMC, Apple’s preferred third-generation supplier’s 3-nanometer node. With a potential reduction in power usage of up to 30%, 3nm chip technology is predicted to boost system throughput by 10 to 15%.
