PM Narendra Modi Voted “World’s Most Powerful Leader 2019” In Uk Magazine Poll
According to statistics, the Prime Minister of India is the most known and famous prime minister around the world. Modi beat Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, US Donald Trump, and Chinese President Xi Jinping to emerge as the “World’s Most Powerful Person 2019” in the reader’s poll conducted by the UK-based British herald magazine.
PM has featured on the cover page of the July 15 edition of the magazine that earlier features Putin in its March-April issue and New Zealand’s PM Jacinda Ardern in the May-June issue. In the nomination list, there were more than twenty-five world icons and a judging panel of experts named four final candidates for the British Herald magazine wrote in an article.
The British Herald readers have voted through a mandatory one-time password process, unlike the regular voting system. The magazine said while the voting was on the website crashed due to the surge of people. After the close of polls, PM Modi was declared the winner with 30.9% of the votes ahead of Putin (29.9%) and Trump at 18.1%.
The polling website got as many as 3 million hits during the poll. The page voting received a record-breaking 2.5 million hits in the first week of June. The prime minister has a unique way of implementing policies to have a positive impact.
As a political leader Modi has raised his image after his recent visits with U.S. President Donald Trump and Xi Jinping. He had emerged as a key figure in the Asian region who is known for his act east policy. The world has seen his vision of action against the climate positively.
The British Herald declared Modi as the winner of the poll. No doubt he is the greatest political leader in the world due to his vision to change the economy of India.
